This post is a classic example of the bureaucrat winning. How can you ban a word that means nothing? Apparently, a bunch of kids starting “Meeping” to disrupt class. They organized themselves on Facebook and got the whole school doing it. What an amazing use of Social Media. I guess self expression gets squashed once it gets to the annoying point. I can see getting in trouble for disrupting class but banning a word. Kind of draconian.
