This post over at Creative Class brings up a broader issue. It’s hidden in the India outsourcing comment about the pendulum is swinging back toward not outsourcing. If you have a critical mass of talented people in one place, you can inherently be more competitive because talent is really what builds innovative products. That you really can’t outsource and be successful. Management and the creative talent need to be in the same room. Now, if you move management to India, well, that’s a whole different story.
