Zen Habits: Save The Drama For Your Mother

by Jarie Bolander on October 7, 2009

Leo’s posts always calm me down. They remind me that most of the issues we face in life can be dealt with calmly. Blowing up (e.g. drama) does no one any good. His latest post nails the problems with drama to the wall. Too often, drama is confused with passion. If you are not upset by some catastrophic setback, some people thing, you just don’t have the passion to succeed. Not true at all. Caring and passion does not require drama to make things right. Fantastic post as usual.

It’s such a simple, obvious lesson…but it is definitely easier said than done.

It seems like just about everyone today is addicted to the drama
